So, since your bone broth is cooking and your bone have been in the oven ( 350 degrees for about 3-5 hours) with no water. It is time to start making your bone meal for your garden.


This is the best part of making the bone meal. Put your cooled bones into a semi-indestructible bag. Get out your sledge hammer ( I steal my hubby's 4lb sledge hammer I use) and beat the crap out of the bones until they are either in a powder or small enough to put into a blender that is powerful enough to crush them up into a powder. You have now just made the expensive bone meal for hardly anything at all.
